I am an outcome-driven Leader, System Architect, and Solution Evangelist. I have a Master of Engineering and a penchant for accelerating business growth, growing technical teams, and integrating the enterprise. My professional experienced includes an engineer, architect, developer and team leader. As an accomplished Project Manager and Director, I have demonstrated proactive application of digital technologies and agile methodologies balanced between engineering, development, automation, adaptive processing, and distributed systems. As an accomplished Senior Dot NET Developer, I am adept at user engagement and robust feature rich solutions. As a Solution Evangelist, I have a recognized command of processes, distributed systems, analytics, machine learning, and multiple digital technologies.

I have extensive data engineering experience including acquisition, storage, retrieval, and analytics – real-time and batch. I have demonstrated superior skills in C#, VB, .NET, Office VBA, MS-SQL, and Crystal Reports. Furthermore, I have demonstrated a unique ability to analyze, automate, and integrate applications and solutions.

Projects which I lead are based on robust, reliable, resilient, and reproducible solutions. I approach knowledge engineering as data engineering – real-time tactical analytics, after-the-fact forensic analytics, and pre-project predictive analytics.

I began developing military avionics systems for General Dynamics and Sikorsky Aircraft. Since 1990, I have been developing Systems and Applications for the Energy Industry including integrated information systems, systems analytics, real-time processing, and operations management. Teams I have led have included small and agile systems groups, interdisciplinary mission avionics groups, and industry leading proactive predictive analytics, case based reasoning, and data mining.

I'm a contributing leader in public conferences as an Applied System Engineer and Machine Learning Architect. I am a contributing author for energy industry and computer science magazines, speaker at industry conferences, and Professor of Computer Science at Lone Star College.
